Raising Siberian kittens is a full time job.  It takes a dedication far beyond caring for a few petsjust as a newborn requires so much more than an older child.  Each kitten requires individual attention, socialization, optimum nutrition, love, and training.  Each kitten leaves Pendraig Siberians with a good start in life, an understanding of the basics of being a good cat and an integral part of their future family and household.  If one of our queens cannot feed the kittens, or care for them, we step in and for weeks forget what sleeping through the night is like.  The reward is worth the work, however.  Getting those letters from owners of our kittens as they grow and enjoy their new lives makes every hardship, ever exhausted morning with no sleep, every expensive vet bill absolutely worth it.
