Ideal Health Guarantee

Requirements - to qualify for this guarantee you must follow our Ideal Diet and Care Plan. The requirements include, but are not limited to, the following items.

Your Siberian Cat or kitten must be fed a 100% raw diet at all times as outlined below.
He/She must receive no vaccinations with the exception of those required by law and with certain restrictions outlined below.
He/She must not be subjected to allopathic medications, flea and de-worming products without prior approval of Pendraig Siberians except in the case of life-threatening emergency.
No vaccine will be given to a cat or kitten within 30 days of another vaccine, surgery, injury, treatment, breeding, pregnancy, nursing kittens or other stress.
Any use of clay clumping cat litter will void out any health guarantee and receipts and UPC symbols for natural litters will be required before reimbursement or replacement.
Annual reports must be sent to us including health records, receipts and UPC Symbols for food and litter products as well as at least 1 quality photo. Failure to supply the annual reports may void your health guarantee and must be received by January 31st of each year.
Your cat/kitten must NEVER be declawed without prior written consent from Pendraig Siberians.
To receive the guarantee we require documentation from your vet and a second opinion from a vet of our choosing to verify cause of death or diagnosis before we will honor the guarantee.
For untimely death a necropsy must be performed by a qualified professional. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, care and veterinary costs.

Ideal Guarantee Includes: Guaranteed Free of Severe and Life Threatening Genetic Disease for 8 years - this is the most comprehensive coverage you will most likely ever see. If you follow our Ideal Diet and Care Plan exactly you won’t need this coverage, but in the off-chance that there is some unforeseen genetic disorder your Siberian Cat will be replaced by one of equal value even if you choose to keep the original Siberian Cat. Severe and Life Threatening Genetic disease or disorder includes anything that interferes with the animal’s quality of life and not caused or triggered by vaccinosis, injury, accident, side-effects or reaction to medications or chemicals, improper care or diet. In the case of a Siberian Cat bought for breeding or showing it also includes any genetic disorder that prevents their use as such. Declawing your Siberian Cat or kitten without written approval of Pendraig Siberians voids any and all health guarantees. This guarantee doesn’t cover appearance nor does it guarantee that a show kitten will perform well. Guarantee is subject to limitations, verification of illness by a vet of our choice and verification of diet and care. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, care and veterinary costs.

Extended Guarantee Includes: Guaranteed Free of Severe and Life Threatening Genetic Disease for 12 years - This is the same guarantee as above but if your Siberian Cat is diagnosed with a genetic disease or disorder between ages 8 and 12 years of age we will instead offer up to 50% off the original purchase price of your Siberian kitten or cat towards another Siberian kitten or cat when one is available. Guarantee is subject to limitations, verification of illness by a vet of our choice and verification of diet and care. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, care and veterinary costs.

Natural Life Span Guaranteed! Guaranteed Natural Life Span of at least 2 years - this is the most comprehensive coverage you will most likely ever see. If your Siberian Cat or kitten dies of natural causes (disease or illness) and not as the result of injury, accident, improper care, irresponsible exposure to disease, abuse, vaccinosis, side-effect or reaction to medication or allopathic treatment, or breeding complication before 10 years of age we will replace the Siberian kitten or cat with one of equal value when one becomes available. This guarantee only applies if reasonable medical care was sought with preference being given to homeopathic and herbal remedies. The buyer must contact us immediately after symptoms are noticed or when a diagnosis is reached, whichever comes first. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, care and veterinary costs. Guarantee is subject to limitations, verification of illness by a vet of our choice and verification of diet and care. We require a necropsy by a qualified pathologist, buyer is responsible for costs. The report must be sent to us immediately.

Extended Natural Life Span of at least 12 years - if your Siberian Cat or kitten dies of natural causes (disease, illness) and not as the result of injury, accident, improper care, irresponsible exposure to disease, abuse, vaccinosis, side-effect or reaction to medication or allopathic treatment, or breeding complication before 12 years of age we will offer a credit worth 50% of what you paid for the previous cat or kitten towards another cat or kitten. This guarantee only applies if reasonable medical care was sought with preference being given to homeopathic and herbal remedies. The buyer must contact us immediately after symptoms are noticed or when a diagnosis is reached, whichever comes first. A necropsy must be performed by a qualified pathologist and the report sent to the Seller. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, care, necropsy and veterinary costs. Guarantee is subject to limitations, verification of illness by a vet of our choice and verification of diet and care.

Breeder Quality Guarantee - breeder quality Siberian Cats and kittens are guaranteed to produce at least one live litter that survives 2 weeks with proper care by the owner if the breeder cat has been raised and maintained on our Ideal Diet and Care plan and if the cat is bred after 1 year of age but before 4 years of age. If a breeder cat has not been able to produce a litter with more than 2 different mates a replacement breeder cat or kitten of equal value will be offered when one becomes available after proof of altering of original cat or after the cat has been sent back to Seller. Guarantee is subject to verification by a veterinarian of our choice as to the health of the cat in question, limitations and verification of diet and care. If replacement is not preferred by the buyer than up to 50% of the cost of the breeder quality kitten will be refunded at our discretion and only after proof of spay/neuter is provided by a licensed veterinarian. This is subject to limitations. The buyer must contact the breeder at the first suspected problem with breeding or if there are any problems with the kittens thriving. If more than 2 cats from our cattery fail as breeders with the same owner no guarantee will be given on the 3rd kitten. If replacement or refund is issued the cat being replaced or refunded must be spayed or neutered prior to fulfillment of this guarantee. Proof of spay or neuter is required. This guarantee does not cover any death or injury to the cat while being bred or during pregnancy and delivery. This guarantee is not valid in cases of sterility, illness, or death caused by sexually transmitted diseases, improper care, injury or accident. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, care and veterinary costs.

Advanced Health Guarantee

Requirements - to qualify for this guarantee you must follow our Advanced Diet and Care Plan. The requirements include, but are not limited to, the following items.

Your Siberian kitten or cat must be fed a 50% raw diet at all times as outlined below with absolutely no dry grain-based foods (kibble) given and only quality brands of grain-free canned foods, and dry foods on our approval.
The Siberian kitten or cat must receive no more than the minimum vaccinations as described below in the advanced health care plan with certain restrictions outlined below.
Your Siberian Cat must not be subjected to allopathic medications, flea and de-worming products without prior approval of Pendraig Siberians except in the case of life-threatening emergency.
No vaccine will be given to a Siberian Cat or kitten within 30 days of another vaccine, surgery, injury, treatment, breeding, pregnancy, nursing kittens or other stress.

Severe and Life Threatening Genetic disease or disorder includes anything that interferes with the animal’s quality of life and was not caused or triggered by vaccinosis, injury, accident, side-effects or reaction to medications or chemicals, improper care or diet. In the case of a Siberian Cat bought for breeding or showing it also includes any genetic disorder that prevents their use as such. This guarantee doesn’t cover appearance nor does it guarantee that a show kitten will perform well. Extended Guarantee Free of Severe and Life Threatening Genetic Disease for 5 years - This is the same guarantee as above but if your Siberian Cat is diagnosed with a genetic disease or disorder between ages 3 and 5 years of age we will instead offer up to 50% of the original purchase price of your Siberian Cat or kitten towards another Siberian kitten or cat when one is available. Guarantee is subject to limitations, verification of illness by a vet of our choice and verification of diet and care. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, care and veterinary costs. In the case of death a necropsy must be performed by a qualified professional and the report sent to Seller.
Breeder Quality Guarantee - breeder quality Siberian Cats and kittens are guaranteed to produce at least one live litter that survives 2 weeks with proper care by the owner if the breeder cat has been raised and maintained on a our Advanced Diet and Care plan and if the cat is bred after 1 year of age but before 4 years of age. If a breeder Siberian Cat has not been able to produce a litter with more than 2 different mates a credit between the difference of a pet quality kitten and the price paid for breeder quality will be applied towards another cat or kitten when one is available. This guarantee is subject to verification by a vet of our choosing in regards to the health of the cat in question. Limitations and verification of diet and care apply. If replacement is not preferred by the buyer than up to 50% of the difference between breeder and pet quality price will be refunded at our discretion. This is subject to limitations. The buyer must contact the breeder immediately after a there suspected problem with breeding or if there are any problems with the kittens thriving. If more than 2 cats from our cattery fail as breeders with the same owner no guarantee will be given on the 3rd kitten. This guarantee does not cover any death or injury (including sterility) of the cat while being bred or during pregnancy, delivery, or nursing of kittens. This guarantee is not valid in cases of sterility, illness, or death caused by sexually transmitted diseases, improper care, injury or accident. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, care and veterinary costs.

General Health Guarantee

Requirements – to qualify for this guarantee you must follow General Diet and Care minimum requirements. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following items.

Your cat or kitten must be fed a quality diet of one of the brands we recommend or have approved.
This guarantee is void if your cat or kitten is given a FeLV or FIP vaccination.
No vaccine will be given to a cat or kitten within 30 days of another vaccine, surgery, injury, treatment or stress or this guarantee will be void.
Any use of clay clumping cat litter will void out any health guarantee and receipts for natural or traditional litters will be required before reimbursement or replacement.
Declawing your cat or kitten without written approval of Pendraig Siberians voids any and all health guarantees.

Guaranteed Free of Severe and Life Threatening Genetic Disease for 24 months – this is easily double the length most breeders offer. In the off-chance that there is some unforeseen genetic disorder your cat will be replaced by one of equal value even if you choose to keep the original cat. Severe and Life Threatening Genetic disease or disorder includes any genetic disorder that interferes with the animal’s quality of life that is not caused or triggered by vaccinosis, injury, accident, illness, infection, side-effects or reaction to medications or chemicals, improper care or diet. In the case of a cat bought for breeding or showing it also includes any genetic disorder that prevents their use as such. This guarantee doesn’t cover appearance nor does it guarantee that a show kitten will perform well. Certain disorders are triggered by feeding dry foods and will not be covered in this guarantee such as diabetes, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, obesity, and irritable bowel syndrome among others. This guarantee is subject to limitations, verification of illness by a vet of our choice and verification of diet and care. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, care and veterinary costs.
