    Forestwind Gemma Sultanovna

    Birth date: 05/24/09

Color: Brown Classic Torbie (SIB f 22)

    Queen in Training

    Possible Golden Carrier

    Pedigree

Gemma joins us from our friends at Forest Wind Siberians. She is a remarkable example of the amazing size, type, health and beauty they are achieving within their cattery. Her sire and dam are from well respected Traditional Catteries in Europe.

Gemma is a true "gem" to our cattery. She is sweet, affectionate and friendly. She is the peacemaker here getting along with everyone and helping a couple of cats to get along better than they ever have before because they have her as a common friend.

Gemma has great size and substance already and made a huge impression on the judges already. In one ring she finaled at her first show and was admired for her size, structure, coat quality and beauty. At this show she was just out of kitten class and competing against adults but one judge saw her potential and believes she will be a prime example of what a Siberian Cat should be as she matures. We have to agree.

Gemma is for us also an important part of our transition to Traditional lines. Her strong characteristics that we found lacking in the non-traditional lines validate our decision. Her genetic potential will help both our main color programs red/torbie and golden.

Her first litter will be with Jorrah Karat, a golden carrier male we have here visiting with us. It seems like we will have great odds for the big size we've needed in our lines for so long.
